Should You Rent a Tent for your Wedding? (Part Two)

In our previous Minneapolis party rental blog post, we discussed a few tips for an easier wedding tent rental process. We’re sharing additional advice and ideas below.

Achieve maximum tent style

A tent doesn’t have to be boring! There are many great options for wedding tent décor – such as string lights and lanterns, lush fabric over the ceiling and support poles, fresh flowers and more. Unlike many wedding venues, you can decorate the tent ahead of time (we can often deliver 1-2 days before the event with notice), making it easier to achieve the look you want for your wedding!

Know the details of the rental policies and process

Some people think we ask a lot of questions…because we do! We want to make sure we can accomplish what you want, without any unwanted surprises. We need to know the details in advance. We have layout forms and often require site inspections to make sure the location can accommodate your vision.

We spell out the details of our reservation and cancellation and delivery, pickup, setup and takedown policies right on our website, as well as in our customer contracts. Read all of the details closely, and make sure a few other people in your wedding party know the policies and can help to make sure that you’re in compliance.

Planning a wedding is stressful enough without trying to plan for the unpredictable. It may be bright and sunny on your wedding day, but it may not – and do you really want to chance it? In the event it’s absolutely gorgeous, we do allow cancellations. Note, however, that full payment would still be required. We consider it to be like insurance: you pay for it, but hope you don’t ever have to use it! Ultimately, renting a tent will provide you with peace of mind on one of the biggest days of your life.
