Can’t Go to the Game? Tailgate at Home!

Fall means pumpkin patches, apple picking – and football! Even though you can’t go to the stadium to watch the big game, you can still throw a festive tailgate party at home.

It’s easy to plan and host a safe, socially distanced tailgate party from the comfort of your driveway. Get started with these tips from Better Homes & Gardens.

Get in Gear

This is your chance to go all out! Hang all the decorations, put on every piece of team gear you own, and celebrate your team. Did you know that the NFL even sells team-branded face masks?

Plan the Menu

Fire up the grill and make the dips! Because tailgating usually happens in the morning, you won’t have much time to cook that day. Make food ahead of time or choose store bought. For safety, place all foods in single-serve containers, or sanitize serving utensils between uses.

Rent Tailgate Party Essentials

Broadway Tent & Event has everything you need for a fun and festive at-home tailgate. Our food warmers can keep your game-day appetizers warm all day, and our lawn games will keep guests of all ages occupied. Keep things competitive with our NEW box hockey game! Make sure you have enough tables and chairs, and don’t forget heaters for those chilly falls days.

End By Game Time

After spending a couple of hours talking football, send guests home to safely watch the game from the comfort of their own homes. Or rent our projector and screen to watch the game together – it’s the next best thing to being at the stadium!
